Handmade from solid oak or cherry wood with a hand-rubbed stain, and fitted with artisan stained glass in your choice of color, it delivers the warmth and craftsmanship of a custom piece at a scale that works for everyday living.

• Over a Table or Island: 5′ 11″ to 6′ 7″ from the floor. Consider headroom clearance when leaning over the surface, and whether the fixture will obstruct sightlines to windows or wall features.
• In an Open Space: 6′ 6″ to 7′ 6″ from the floor (or higher depending on the application)
• How to Measure: Hanging height is measured from the ceiling to the bottom of the glass. Hold a tape measure or yardstick to the ceiling to find your ideal drop length before ordering.

• Glass: Available in Caramel Cream — a warm amber glow when lit — or Whispering White, which is approximately 20% brighter with subtle caramel streaks (not pure white). For everyday use as a primary light source, Whispering White is the more popular choice.
• Wood Frame: Each piece of wood is hand-selected, cut, sanded, and joined by skilled craftsmen using solid Oak, finished in Dark Cherry, Mission Brown, or Golden Oak stain, or in Cherry Wood with a clear oil finish. Custom stain colors available for an additional cost.

A: The #507-2 works best over islands roughly 36″–54″ long. Its 34″ ceiling board and two shades provide balanced light coverage across that range. Q: What hanging height is recommended over a kitchen island?
A: We recommend positioning the bottom of the glass 5′ 11″ to 6′ 7″ from the floor.
