If you have a large kitchen island, you can custom order an extended ceiling board fitted with 3 or 4 pendants. For extra-large islands, many customers choose the #507-2 model and install two fixtures side by side. Because we offer such a wide range of pendant lights, not every variation is displayed online. Recommended Hanging Heights

• Over a Table: 5′ 11″ to 6′ 7″ from the floor. Consider headroom clearance when leaning over the table, and whether the fixture will obstruct sightlines to windows, wall décor, or someone seated across from you.
• In an Open Space: 6′ 6″ to 7′ 6″ from the floor (or higher depending on the application)
• How to Measure: Hanging height is measured from the ceiling to the bottom of the glass. Hold a yardstick or tape measure against the ceiling and mark how far you’d like the fixture to extend.

Craftsmanship

• Glass: Available in Caramel Cream — a warm amber glow when lit — or Whispering White, which is approximately 20% brighter with delicate caramel streaks (not pure white). For fixtures intended as a primary light source, Whispering White is often the more practical choice.
• Wood Frame: Every piece of wood is hand-selected, cut, sanded, and assembled by skilled craftsmen using solid Oak, finished in Dark Cherry, Mission Brown, or Golden Oak. Clear-oiled Cherry wood is also available. Custom stain colors available for an additional cost.
